Our client is a successful Boutique Alternative Investments business based in Cape Town. They now have a new position for a consummate professional Property Analyst. The role includes the following duties.

  • Analyzing and managing property acquisitions and disposals, primarily in the private market
  • Sourcing investment opportunities to deploy capital raised
  • Reviewing and recommending whether an acquisition is viable
  • Continuous review of property holdings
  • Monitor compliance with client/ investor mandates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial reports, including arrears and collection statistics, to provide insights on property performance.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the property market.
  • Portfolio Management: Create and manage portfolio-level reports, including performance analytics data such as footfall and retail sales trends.
  • Client Coordination: Maintain relationships with developers and coordinate projects to ensure effective property management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with property investments and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in finance, economics, real estate, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in real estate and financial analysis tools.
  • Experience: Previous experience in property management or real estate analysis is required.
