Our client is a prominent Discretionary Fund Management (DFM) business. They have a contract role for a marketing and project management contractor to support the delivery of our broader marketing function.
Our ideal candidate has experience in the areas of marketing management (specifically brand; digital; and content creation), in particular events management within the financial services industry and has a track record of delivering objectives under pressure and to deadline.

Responsibilities
The role will form part of the client service team and will report to the COO. The responsibilities will include the following:
1. Event Planning and Oversight:
o Project Manage the annual client event (called Insights), including communication with all stakeholders, including guest speakers; website management; ensuring copy is produced and providing proof reading; venue coordination; event layout; menu planning; logistics; and hotel arrangements for guests.
o Together with the Head of Client Services, plan and execute small individual client events, coordinating with asset managers for presentations to end clients.

2. Client (Independent Financial Advisers) Communication Schedule Management
Webinar Management:
o Plan, coordinate, and execute webinars, from initial planning through post-event follow-up.
o Manage webinar invitations, registrations, and attendance tracking.
o Compile and assist with preparation for presentations for webinars, ensuring content is engaging and informative.
Online Communication:
NOTE: The management and oversight of all website content, including fund reviews, ad hoc market updates, quarterly reports, and monthly commentary falls outside of the contractors’ scope and is managed from by the Operations Team.

3. Brand & Content Refresh
Support the management team with the implementation of revised brand elements across various items of collateral, including the Client portal (login only access).
Co-ordinate any content updates to the public/client websites with the company’s outsourced digital agency.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and event/project management
• Proven experience in event planning and management, particularly in the financial industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with website content management systems and basic HTML.
